In April 2024, Mingjie Group completed the installation of MJL-15 semi-continuous solid waste pyrolysis plant for sale in Venezuela. The client purchased the pyrolysis plant to process industrial solid waste. Below are pictures of the solid waste pyrolysis plant installation and commissioning at the customer site.


The pyrolysis plant can convert industrial solid waste into energy (pyrolysis oil, carbon black and synthesis gas), thereby achieving harmless, reduced and resource-based treatment of solid waste.
The pre-treated industrial construction waste is fed into the pyrolysis reactor and heated in an oxygen-deficient or low-oxygen environment. The heat required for the initial pyrolysis reaction can be provided by an external heating source (such as a gas burner). The combustible syngas produced during the solid waste pyrolysis process can also be used for self-heating.

Advantages of Solid Waste Pyrolysis Plant
- The solid waste pyrolysis plant can decompose the organic matter in industrial construction waste at high temperature, greatly reducing the volume and weight of the waste. The volume reduction effect can usually reach 70%-90%, which helps to relieve the space pressure of landfills.
- During the Industrial Solid Waste Pyrolysis Process, the organic matter in industrial construction waste can be converted into valuable resources, such as combustible gas, liquid fuel and solid charcoal. The combustible gas produced can be used as energy for power generation or heating. The liquid fuel can be further refined and processed. The solid charcoal can be used as an adsorbent or soil conditioner, etc.
- Compared with traditional incineration, pyrolysis process of solid waste is carried out under anaerobic conditions and produces relatively few pollutants. At the same time, the waste gas generated during the pyrolysis process can meet higher emission standards after purification, and the pollution to the environment is relatively small.
- The solid waste pyrolysis plant can treat various types of industrial construction waste, including waste wood, plastic, rubber and construction waste containing organic matter. It has strong adaptability to wastes of different compositions and properties.

Essential Equipment for Industrial Solid Waste Pyrolysis Project
Pretreatment Equipment
Crusher: Used to break up large material into smaller particles in the industrial construction waste, such as concrete blocks, bricks, wood.
Feeding equipment: feed the pre-treated industrial construction waste into the pyrolysis furnace evenly and stably.

Pyrolysis Reactor
Pyrolysis reactor: It is the core equipment for industrial solid waste pyrolysis plant. Mingjie pyrolysis reactor is made of double-layer stainless steel, which is resistant to high temperature and corrosion. It adopts insulation design, and the external heating device provides the required heat for the pyrolysis reaction. Gas heating and fuel heating have the advantages of fast heating speed and stable heat supply.
Product Separation and Collection Equipment
- Condensation equipment: used to cool the high-temperature gas produced by pyrolysis. It condenses water vapor and tar and other substances into liquid for separation and collection.
- Liquid collection and storage equipment: collects and stores condensed liquid products, such as fuel oil, tar, etc.
- Solid collection equipment: collects solid products after pyrolysis, such as carbon black, inorganic residues, etc.

Auxiliary Equipment
Ventilation equipment: Provides necessary air circulation for pyrolysis reaction and discharges waste gas generated by combustion. Ventilation equipment mainly includes blowers and induced draft fans.
Gas purification equipment: The gas generated by pyrolysis contains impurities (dust, tar, and water vapor), which need to be treated by gas purification equipment. Purification equipment makes it meet emission standards or meet the requirements of subsequent utilization.
Common gas purification equipment includes cyclone separators, bag dust collectors, wet scrubbers, activated carbon adsorbers, etc.
Control system: Monitors and controls the entire pyrolysis process, including monitoring and adjustment of parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow. In order to ensure the stable progress of the pyrolysis reaction and the safe operation of the industrial solid waste pyrolysis plant.
