Sawdust Pyrolysis Carbonization to Biochar

During the sawdust pyrolysis carbonization process, it is heated to a temperature of 300 to 800 degrees Celsius. This causes the organic matter to decompose into gases, liquids and solids. Components of Sawdust Charcoal Making Machine

Skid Mounted Biomass Carbonization Equipment

The sawdust biochar making machine generally includes feeding system, carbonization reactor, cooling system, dust removal equipment, control panel, etc.

The feeding system of fully continuous carbonization plant requires the materials to be size smaller than 20mm, and moisture smaller than 15%.

The carbonization reactor is the key component of the sawdust charcoal making machine. It is made of 304 stainless steel and has a service life of more than 5-8 years.

The sawdust biochar machine has a water-cooled discharger, which can reduce the temperature of biochar during the unloading process.

The dust removal system can purify carbon, syngas and tar. The syngas will be transported to the combustion chamber for recycling, and the tar will be collected in the storage tank.

The biochar making machine takes PLC control which is high automatically.

Fully Continuous Sawdust Carbonization Process

Preheating and drying

Turn on the burner to preheat the biomass pyrolysis plant for 1-2 hours. The fuel can be diesel, liquefied petroleum gas, natural gas, etc. When the temperature reaches about 150 degrees, you can start loading.

The sawdust will be loaded into the dryer for dehumidification. The heating source is the flue gas in the combustion chamber of the carbonization furnace.

After the sawdust passes through the dryer, it enters the carbonization reactor. The material first enters the inner barrel for further drying, and then falls into the outer barrel to complete the pyrolysis carbonization process. After the water-cooled circulation system, the temperature of the sawdust charcoal will decrease. The generated sawdust biochar is automatically discharged by the screw conveyor.

The syngas and tar enters the dust collector and condenser for impurity removal and cooling. The syngas that cannot be condensed is partially recycled back to the furnace for heating, and the excess syngas enters the combustion chamber. Tar and wood vinegar are collected and stored in a storage tank.

The flue gas in the heating process enters the dryer and impurity remover for drying and purification. Then the flue gas enters the dust removal scrubber, passes through ceramic ring adsorption and water spray. Finally, it is cleaned by ultraviolet light and oxygen and activated carbon adsorption to remove unpleasant odors and digest CH4. This is particularly important for the generation of carbon credits.

The flue gas from the combustion of syngas also passes through the flue gas condenser and then transferred to the dust removal process for cleaning.
